Setting off along the coast

William Wadé Harris begins his prophetic walk through Ivory Coast.

1915

Expulsion

The French colonial administration expels him to Liberia.

1928

Passing the torch

John Ahui meets Harris at Cape Palmas and receives his mission.

1961

An official Church

Statutes published under the name Christ Church - Harris Mission.

1998

International recognition

The Harrist Church joins the World Council of Churches.
